How many people are in each class?

The maximum number of people in each class is 6. We are strict about this to ensure that each student’s needs are catered for.

What is included in the course?

The course is 2 days of tuition 9am-4pm with a one hour lunch break. Included with this are ScienceTutors.co.uk revision notes, practice papers and carefully worked through solutions so that the benefits of the course can continue even after the course has finished. Refreshments (water/fruit juices) will be included.

I find certain parts of the course particularly hard, will you be able to give specific help?

Yes. On the registration form we will ask you to specify any specific problems that you have in the course. We will follow this up with an email/telephone call a couple of weeks before the course to ensure that we know where you need help. This will allow our tutors to tailor the courses to your needs and make sure that extra focus is given to your problem areas.

What does each 2 day course cover?    

Each 2 day course covers a single module/exam of the A-level course (e.g. C1).   The course will revise the syllabus, with a particular focus on any problem areas that the student may have. The courses will include a large amount of exam practice, as we believe that this is the most effective way to revise, particularly close to exams. The exam practice will also instil an understanding in the student of what they need to do to achieve top grades and improve their exam technique, a vital skill that will see them through all their exams.
